SustainaBUILD Vancouver Conference 2011 for Building Construction from 23-NOV-2011 TO 23-NOV-2011 takes place in Vancouver , Canada. Organized by MMPI Canada.
The Vancouver SustainaBUILD Conference is a one-day conference, held at the Hyatt Regency in November, which seeks to make sense of the massive paradigm shift of the real estate and development industries towards “green” innovations in design, construction and operation, to reduce greenhouse gas emissions. Green building certification systems are being adopted for new and existing buildings, which claim to protect occupant health while achieving climate change objectives. But are all green buildings healthy buildings? Through a series of speakers and discussions, this conference will seek to provide answers to this pressing issue by addressing the myths and misconceptions surrounding sustainable green buildings and health.
